(30.03.2010) + With the publication in the Official Journal of European Union on the 26th March 2010, the extra-virgin olive oil Seggiano was officially awarded with the DOP denomination (Protected Designation of Origin) at the European Community level. The Brussels "stamp", awarded on the 25th of March, represents the last and most important goal of a genuine and unique speciality of Tuscan food tradition which finally obtains an important international protection.
